Guidelines for the Preparation of the Camera Ready Version



Camera Ready Submission:

  • Please prepare your final manuscript according to the Springer templates. Both LaTex and MS Word Template are available on MIET website in the tab "Camera Ready Version Guidelines" You can also prepare your manuscript at Overleaf.
  • Please see the REVIEWERS’ COMMENTS via ProConf Author's portal of your paper, which MUST be addressed. NOTE: If the reviewer’s comments have not been addressed, your paper will NOT be included in the proceedings.
  • Prepare author’s response to the reviewer's comments in a separate file (.pdf)
  • Make sure that you have made a zip file named as PaperID.zip. The zip file includes the following materials:
    • A camera-ready manuscript in pdf format (PaperID.pdf)
    • A blue-highlighted manuscript pdf of addressing reviewers' comments (PaperID_HL.pdf)
    • All source files (MS Word user: PaperID.docx and Latex user: PaperID.tex and other supporting (figure, bib, cls, etc)files). Then, take them in a folder and zip this folder with the name of PaperID.
    • Author's response to the reviewer's comments in a separate PDF file (PaperID_RR.pdf)
    • Springer Permission Request form (PaperID_PRC.pdf) if applicable.
  • Now, upload the zip file by given submmision link and following the camera ready submission menu. Note that no other form of camera ready submission is acceptable.

Copyright Submission:

  • Download and print Consent to Publish CTP (or copyright) letter. CTP is available on our conference website in the tab "Camera Ready Version Guidelines". Then sign on the CTP and upload scan copy at your ProConf Author’s portal. Please DO NOT type or print your name as sign-on CTP. The sign should be hand-sign . The format will be PaperID_CTP.

Springer Permission Request form Submission (Include in Zip Folder (If applicable) - Follow Camera Ready Submission Rules):

  • Permission Request Form (Springer) is also available at MIET website. The format will be PaperID_PRC. Make sure that ALL images/illustrations are from you and drawn by you [even if you want to redraw from another document, make sure that you give reference properly, and take permission (if needed)]. If there is no content being used in the paper for which the permission is required you must fill NIL in the form, sign, and upload in the zip folder.

Please read the following CAREFULLY. Here are the steps you MUST follow:

  • Write the author’s name properly and sequentially, upon all of their formal approvals to submit the paper. Make sure that a name means just a name. DO NOT include Dr./Prof./Graduate Student/Mr./Ms. etc. in the names or affiliations. Affiliations mean the Dept./Address/Institutes. DO NOT include any designation. Add ALL authors’ valid email addresses and mark the CORRESPONDING AUTHOR in the author list.
  • Abstract should be concise and accurate and within the 150~250 words and the keywords should be 3–6 terms.
  • The length of submitted papers should be at least 10 pages. We do not accept short papers within 5-7 pages.
  • Each paper has a length limit up to 15 pages . Authors whose papers are more than 15 pages need to pay an additional TK 1000.00 (one thousand) per page.
  • For more clarity and readability, please check the English of your paper by an expert or a native speaker.
  • Make sure that no part of this paper (including Figure/Table/Algorithm) is copied from other sources.
  • Make sure the similarity shall be less than 15% (Overall) and < 4% from a single source.
  • Be careful about machine-generated papers, which are highly prohibited from LNNS. The AI-generated content shall be less than 22% (Overall) . Any use of AI tools must comply with Springer Nature’s AI policy.
  • Make sure that ALL images/illustrations are from you and drawn by you , even if you want to redraw from another document, make sure that you give reference properly, and take the permission (if needed). Do not just download it from a website/paper and put it in the paper. Try to redraw in higher-resolution and use less color. Make sure that texts within an image are clear and font sizes are proper. See the instructions on images from the respective website. Besides, AI-generated diagrams are prohibited.
  • Make sure that there is no formatting problem, no typo/spelling mistakes, no problems on proper punctuations, no mixed fonts, and make sure that all sections/subsections/Figure Numbers/Table Numbers/References, etc. are properly marked.
  • In Acknowledgment, make sure that you do it properly but do not write too much (less than 3 sentences) [NOT Mandatory].
  • Make sure that all references are 100% cited within the paper. Try to put references from quality journals or conferences.
  • If you refer a web-link, make sure that you put the access date and the title of the site. See the instructions for details.   • At least one author of your paper MUST REGISTER and PRESENT the paper at the conference. Failing to do so, your paper will be withdrawn and not be included in the proceedings. The registration will be opened soon and you will be notified once it is opened.
