Call For Tutorial

In MIET 2022, a valuable opportunity is provided for participants to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of artificial intelligence and associated emerging technologies

Location and Timeline

Tutorials will held to the parallel session of MIET 2022 at the same venue in main conference.

Proposal Format

In particular, the proposal should contain:

  • Title (one line)
  • A summary of 350 words (maximum) is suitable and contain topic description like
    • A description of the topic

    • The state of the art in the topic

    • The intended audience and the profile of the ideal target audience for the tutorial

    • The relevancy with MIET

  • Implementation Section: This section should include
    • The duration of this tutorial will be half or full day

    • A preliminary schedule of events is needed to include estimated times

    • A description of materials is incorporated different tutorial notes

    • An explanation is required about some materials for conducting tutorial (e.g., lecture, hands-on exercise, facilitated discussion, group activity, role-playing, games, etc.)

    • How the tutorial will be conducted, face-to-face, online or both.

  • Background Section: This section should include presenter’s affiliation, relevant biographical information (250 words maximum), and summaries of the presenters’ technical, presentation, and tutorial qualification and experience.

Submission Instructions

Proposals must be written in English, consist of approximately 2-4 pages.

Selection Process

Submitted Proposals will be reviewed by a small subset of the main conference’s program committee. Acceptance will be based on:

  • Evaluation of the tutorial’s interest to the community (research and/or practice)

  • Timeliness and expected interest in the topic

  • Organizer’s ability to lead a successful tutorial

Important Considerations
  • Presenters need to register for MIET-2022 and attend it to give the tutorial.

  • Tutorials will be run in a hybrid mode of face-to-face and online simultaneously.
