The MIET 2022 Organizing Committee cordially invites researchers, scientists, and industrial engineers to propose Special Session within a general scope of the conference. Special Sessions are expected to focus the frontiers on theoretical, practical, state-of-art applications, and research challenges in the field of artificial intelligence and associated emerging technologies through the application of Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Sensing and Security. MIET Organizer also encourages more applied impact-type Special Sessions with a focus on fields of critical importance to the society, together with cross-disciplinary bridging-the-gap topics aiming to establish connections with other research communities.
A key aspect of Special Sessions is that they should be coherent, relevant, timely and informative. Each session is expected to have 4-5 papers for a half-day program and 8-10 papers for a full-day program.
The Special Session proposal should contain the following information:
Title of special session
Names, main contact, and a short biography of the proposers.
Brief description of the Special Session including abstract, scope, relevance, and timeliness.

At least 4-5 tentative papers with title, authors and short abstract
Deadline for Special Session Proposal Submission: March 01, 2022
Notification of acceptance of the proposal: May 07, 2022
Paper submission deadline of the approved Special Sessions: March 01, 2022
Notification of paper acceptance: May 01, 2022
Deadline for Camera Ready Submission: May 15, 2022

Note that if the number of accepted papers are fewer in a Special Session, then Special Session may be canceled, and accepted special papers will be included in the regular Technical Program. To avoid multiple special sessions covering similar topics, it is likely that an accepted proposal will be combined with similar proposals. For more information contact Special Session Chairs.
We are looking forward to your proposals!
